Ten-year-old Floyd was really struggling to walk due to arthritis and associated tight fascia. He also seemed sad and lethargic, having lost his usual Labrador enthusiasm for life. All he could manage was a slow potter outside his home. His mum Wendy was very worried and unsure how to help her boy. On a Facebook scroll one morning she discovered A Calmer Canine.

From slow pottering to eagerly trotting

Floyd’s first assessment showed his body was full of painful fascia tension. His weekly WEBB sessions helped loosen his taut body and improve his mobility. He was soon eager to trot off on longer walks, play with his toys and his ‘brother’ again. Floyd now has regular sessions to keep his limbs and spine as loose as possible and we’ve added in veterinary acupuncture which has further boosted his health.

‘I have my Floyd back’

“I saw an improvement in Floyd after the first session and after a few weeks he was a different dog. I couldn’t believe the change in him. It wasn’t just physical but also in himself, he was engaged with life again and much happier. I’m so glad I was scrolling on Facebook that day and found Ruth and WEBB. It’s changed Floyd’s life for the better in a massive way and I’m so very grateful.”
